The COALA Strategic Committee met to review the network’s progress and outline future collaborative research directions.
Key highlights included:
•    Finalization and signature of the Consortium Agreement expected by February 2026;
•    Updates from Work Packages (WP1–WP6), with shared data, tools, and resources;
•    Preparation for 2026 Calls for Proposals (PHRC-K, PRT-K, PLBIO, European programs);
•    Strengthening of the Data Committee and harmonization of collaborative tools;
•    Planning of the COALA Day – January 15, 2026, aligned with JMT 2026, focusing on biological and translational approaches.
All partners reaffirmed their commitment to fostering synergy across teams and enhancing the collective value of COALA’s data and expertise to advance research on oncogene-driven lung cancers.
