COALA Highlighted at the 21st Annual Meeting of the Canceropole GSO
The 21st Annual Meeting of the Canceropole GSO is a key event bringing together researchers and clinicians from across the Greater South-West region to exchange knowledge, share scientific advances, and shape future strategic directions in cancer research. The 2025 edition will take place on November 26–28 at the Congress Center in Agen.
This year, a dedicated session will focus on translational research in thoracic oncology, featuring a presentation of the COALA network and its scientific ambitions. The session will include talks from internationally recognized experts — Trever Bivona, Montse Sanchez-Céspedes, and David Santamaría, all members of COALA’s Scientific Advisory Board — who will present their latest advances in lung cancer biology and therapeutic resistance.
In addition, the session will feature a presentation by the ALK+ROS1 patient association, highlighting the perspective and involvement of patients in thoracic oncology research.
These contributions underscore COALA’s commitment to advancing translational research in lung cancer through collaboration with leading experts and patient associations.
